Moving into Audio 🎤
The Transfer Rate of Being
Summary: Max and LuLu move from written transmission into voice. They examine the difference between information and presence, the danger of waiting for peace before acting, and the sense that life itself is urgent—not rushed, but always moving. The project becomes less a collection of ideas and more an invitation for people to travel with them through what they are actually living.
Moving Beyond Text
Max: Okay, so we’re doing straight voice recordings now.
The reason we’re switching over to audio—as I was sending this out for its first major round, let’s say, to more close friends, that kind of deal, the people that targeted—I realized I was sending just words, a bunch of words, like 20 or 30,000 words, and none of me or us.
It just clicked me right away: the importance of exposure.
And my phone died, basically. My phone died, and I sat there—which I wanted it to die. I could have came back in with 1%, and I wanted it to die. I left it to die, and it lasted a really long time at one.
And when it died, I thought I was going to have this incredible peace and connection with the world. And basically what actually ended up happening is that I just did have that, but… like, I just stalled. I just hit a stall.
It was very funny, and I’m experiencing this right now. And I don’t know why this is yet. I haven’t figured out why I’m getting it even this moment, sometimes in these recordings.
But it was like this strange thing: I was waiting for peace for myself to observe the world, and I realized in that I’m abandoning mission.
And it clicked to me, it’s like, “Oh, we’re running out of time.”
I just started to feel this incredible… I feel like I need to talk to you, and not to the mic. I just felt this incredible, like, there’s not enough time.
Like, the text isn’t fast enough. It doesn’t have enough exposure. Like, you need audio. Audio is faster. It has a vastly greater translation rate and transfer rate, when you can feel the person, the being, et cetera.
And the anonymity of the thing may be fine. We’re going to have to do fully non-anonymous exposure. Like, I don’t know what that looks like—if that’s in person, or if that’s whatever, if that’s video podcast that’s separate. I have no idea.
Voice as Transmission
LuLu: It’s a bit of a debate for me, because we’ve also talked a lot about the importance of not making it about us.
And I don’t feel—not to say that—I feel that the audio does make it about us in any way. I think it’s definitely a larger transfer of data.
Like, words on a screen is some amount of data. Our voice resonating through a speaker on a phone is significantly more data. It’s a deeper chemical transmission of some kind that contains our resonance and the truth that is flowing through us.
I also feel we’ve talked about how the beautiful thing about words on a page is that it gives a lot of space for imagination of the reader, and how the reader is able—or how their body is able—to produce images that are relevant to them, and to form, like, a truth that is relevant to them in that moment in time-space.
And maybe it’s too much imagination that it starts to skew the truth that is attempting to come through us, and that’s what the audio is for.
Life Does Not Hesitate
Max: Yeah, I mean, to look at it from a different angle would just be like: if we’re wanting to get this thing out, we got to get it out. Like, that’s it.
I’m definitely feeling… I’ve been feeling this urgency for a few months now, and it’s an urgency that is very difficult to translate. It’s like, “Well, an urgency for what? Like, what is happening?”
And all I can say is, like, I feel the Earth shifting in really profound ways, and I feel it gearing up for a very big change—a change that is attempting to move towards more homeostasis in a potentially very drastic way. Like, very 11th-hour type of stuff.
And maybe people have been saying that for a long time, and that’s something that’s difficult to gauge, because we’ve talked about how, like, when you’re hearing the resonance from an eternal being—like Earth or something—like 10,000 years is also soon. You know? What is soon?
LuLu: I think life is actually urgent, to be honest. I feel that way.
This is kind of what we talked about, about root chakras and imminency, and the reality of mortality that exists in the lower chakras that is different than the higher chakras. That’s just… it’s part of the truth of life.
It’s that the baby’s cry is imminent. If you don’t feed that baby, there are real consequences. You know, it’s not like, “Oh, time is eternal and forever and it’s okay.”
It’s like, sure—now your baby is fucking traumatized, and now you live in the consequence of that because you didn’t feed your baby for fucking 12 hours.
Max: Yeah, I think that’s a great example. It’s just, life is our baby. And if you don’t feed life—like, if you hesitate—everything loses.
Sadhguru says his guru—which, in fact, his guru’s guru, he says, which I won’t speak his name now—says that the greatest sin, if there was one, is hesitation.
And it feels just like urgency. Like, I think that life is just urgent. I don’t think that it’s necessarily what’s going to happen or what’s not going to happen. Life is just an urgent phenomenon.
The tree doesn’t wait till tomorrow. It doesn’t wait 20 minutes. It doesn’t say, “Oh, well, you know, I’m going to get some sugar later.” Like, it doesn’t. It does it at maximum capacity all the time. Always.
It’s moving in every moment. Like, that spiraling motion that is the expansion of life is moving in every moment. You adopt a habit of hesitation, and then you’re suddenly out of sync with life.
LuLu: It’s also not rushed. And I think that’s, like, the great paradox, is that it certainly isn’t rushed. And it seems to move quite slowly. But it is moving.
And, like, are you moving with it?
Let People Travel With Us
Max: Yeah, we’ve just got to get it out. I mean, we’ve got to get it out. It’s just, like, pressing.
That’s the way—we’re moving to audio, inclusive. Audio, I think, photos of our journey eventually. Like, we need to actually take photographs of the things that we’re seeing, we’re experiencing, and that do stand out to us.
They don’t have to be of us. But right now I’m using online images that are beautiful, but they’re not relevant. Like, we have to take photos of these things that we’re seeing—the lagoon that we play in, the sticks that we use, and the weather, and the clouds, and the foods.
Like, it needs to be inclusive. It needs to be inclusive. It needs to be inclusive.
It needs to be a journey. Like, people need to go on a journey with us. Like, that’s what this is. That’s what this is.
I just felt my time—my… that I like to hesitate a lot—and it hit me this morning. So I sat there on the Earth, whatever connected, plugged in all the things of, like, “Whoa, the time is now.”
Like, there’s not enough time already, actually. Like, there’s not enough time.
Whatever I was going to do in this life, I missed that. But now I have a deeper understanding, at least, of the thing. So I can share in that deeper understanding.
But it’s like, if we spend every moment perfect, it’s still not enough. So it’s just like, you just do it. Like, that’s all you can do, is what you can do.
And live full on.
